Japanese artist Jun Oson celebrates Steven Spielberg’s classic sci-fi film, with the officially-licensed E.T. x Jun Onson exhibition at the Isetan in Shinjuku in Tokyo previously.
In addition to the original paintings, Oson has also created a limited-edition resin sculpture, Farewell Kiss, inspired by the final scene in which Gertie (Drew Barrymore) says goodbye to her extraterrestrial BFF. Oson captures the tender moment including E.T.’s surprised reaction to the unexpected gesture.
