Established in 2006, Suicoke is a cult Japanese brand that has become known worldwide for it’s wide selection of performance sandals, which also starred in collaborations with partners the likes of Norse Projects and Mastermind.
Neoprene panels, adjustable nylon straps, moulded Vibram footbed and Vibram Morflex soles are the elements which stand out in all Suicoke sandals. Taking inspiration from Issey Miyake bold colours of the late 90’s, for Spring 2016 Suicoke launches the Kisee sandal in collaboration with European distributor Slam Jam, both in Men and Women’s sizes.
Curated by a duo of Slam Jam’s friends – photographer Bea De Giacomo and stylist Anna Carraro -, the campaign was shot in a one-of-a-kind space in Milan whose peculiarities provide the perfect frame for the products colours and features.
Established in 1989 in Ferrara, Italy, Slam Jam is a clothing company whose activities span from wholesale distribution to retail and production. Deeply rooted into the so-called “street culture”, Slam Jam’s evolution has always been influenced by the passion for music, sports and visual arts. The result of it’s wide range explorations is not only a roster of important brands which the company has been bringing to the market as a forerunner, but also collaborations with artists, photographers and musicians.
