Herschel Supply's First Seasons for Apparel Collection
Posted on July 28 2017
Known for its classic backpacks with a minimal design and practicalities for the road, Herschel Supply has become somewhat a symbol for the cool and young worldwide. Having sold its 15 millionth bag at some point last year, big things continue to be on the horizon for the Canada-based accessories brand. This month, all eyes are set on Herschel Supply as it drops its first-ever apparel collection for Fall 2017.
In consonance with the travel-minded lifestyle the brand is already themed around, the category-breaking release features statement outerwear pieces for both men and women with weather resistance that will easily become an essential for your journeys, whether it is the commute to and from work, a walk in the woods or the quick run to the gym.
The Fall 2017 collection, taking inspiration from the 1980s and ‘90s New York street culture, splits into two lines—the Voyage and the Forecast—and a Keith Haring collaboration featuring pieces that span the apparel, headwear, bag and accessory categories in the artist’s iconic, striking “Untitled” dancing man all-over print.
The Voyager line is the lighter of the two, offering travel-ready layering possibilities in ripstop fabric that are not only wind-resistant and water-repellent but also able to be packed into itself, like this timeless Men’s Pullover Voyage Anorak jacket and slender-fit full-zip Women’s Voyage Wind Jacket. Other jacket styles in the line include the Women’s Poncho and the Men’s Coach Jacket and windbreaker.
Made for maximum utility, the Forecast will handle the heavier duties with its durable waterproof fabric and welded critical seams, like this boldly curated hooded Forecast Women’s Parka and sharp-looking Men’s Coach Jacket finished with an adjustable drawcord hemline. Like the Voyage, all the Forecast jackets are available in an assortment of modern prints and flattering colourways.
